San Francisco Branch Meeting (In-person) with Guest Speaker

Please join us for our first in-person San Francisco, CA Branch meeting of 2026. We will meet on Saturday, February 7th, from 1:00PM-3:00pm PST at Redwood Shores Library, Meeting Room A. The meeting address is 399 Marine Parkway in Redwood City. Back again to speak with our group is Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist, Beth Weiss and two of her colleagues, Liana Muhka, OT/L, and Karen Hanson, OT/L, CHT. Like Beth, Liana works primarily with the hand and upper body to help with pain management, adaptive aid education, joint protection techniques, proper hand positioning, and exercises for motion and strength. Karen, who’s also an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist and works to help patients manage mental health symptoms like depression and anxiety. Beth, Liana, and Karen have much knowledge and expertise to share, like providing strategies for challenging daily living tasks and utilizing proper form, body mechanics, and ergonomics. And of course, they’ll bring some cool gadgets and adaptive aids for show and tell. Hope many of you can join us for this informative and valuable discussion.
