About the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association (CMTA)
In 1983, a small but determined group of patients, their families, clinicians, and researchers united with one mission: to eliminate Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT). This group would launch what is now the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association.

As the leading global philanthropic funder of CMT research, CMTA unites the community with clinicians and industry experts to accelerate CMT research, with investments of more than $33 million since 2008.
