Augustine Therapeutics

Augustine Therapeutics’ work builds on the groundbreaking research of Prof. Ludo Van Den Bosch, who uncovered HDAC6’s critical role in peripheral neuropathies like Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease and Chemotherapy-Induced Peripheral Neuropathy (CIPN), as well as neurodegenerative disorders. Augustine Therapeutics is discovering and developing a pipeline of novel HDAC6 inhibitors for the potential treatment of these neuromuscular, neurodegenerative and cardio-metabolic diseases.

Augustine Therapeutics is building on the pioneering research of Prof. Ludo Van Den Bosch, whose work identified HDAC6 as an important therapeutic target for Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT) disease, chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN), and other neurodegenerative disorders. Based on these discoveries, Augustine is developing a new generation of HDAC6 inhibitors with the goal of treating CMT and other neuromuscular, neurodegenerative, and cardio-metabolic diseases.
