Jeana Sweeney

Chief Engagement and Gift Officer

With over 25 years of experience in nonprofit leadership and business development, Jeana brings a deep understanding of how to build meaningful relationships and drive mission-focused growth. Before joining CMTA in 2009, she led outreach and development for a large regional credit union. At CMTA, she launched Camp Footprint, expand national engagement efforts, and grow donor and community relationships.

Jeana lives with CMT caused by a spontaneous genetic mutation, making her the first in her family to be diagnosed. Her youngest daughter also lives with CMT. She is driven by a vision of a future where no child faces this disease without answers, support, or hope.

She enjoys smallmouth bass fishing, biking on quiet trails, and cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers, but her favorite time is spent with her two daughters and husband, Chris.
