Lainie Ishbia

Lainie Ishbia is the founder of Trend-Able a platform helping people with disabilities find stylish, practical solutions for everyday life—including AFO-friendly shoes, adaptive fashion, and tips and everyday workarounds for living with fine motor weakness.

Living with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease type 1A, Lainie created Trend-Able out of a need for real options—and a refusal to settle. What started as finding personal workarounds turned into sharing them, so others can wear what they want, go where they want, and feel like themselves doing it.

A former therapist who specialized in self-esteem and body image, Lainie holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan and is a TEDx speaker, focused on redefining limitations and living fully with creativity and determination.

At the core of Lainie’s work is the belief that everyone has something—CMT is hers, but it’s not really about what you have. It’s how you choose to think about it and live with it that makes all the difference
