Sarah Wilson
Sarah leads CMTA’s digital marketing efforts, overseeing social media strategy, email communications, and web presence to strengthen awareness, engagement, and fundraising. She was introduced to the CMT community through her husband, David, who lives with CMT1A, and is proud to use her skills to support a mission that’s close to home.
She earned her degree in Mass Communications with concentrations in Advertising and Public Relations from Towson University. Before joining CMTA, she served as Communications Manager and Social Media Manager for the Epilepsy Foundation of America, where she led national campaigns, managed newsletters and livestreams, and ensured consistent, accessible content across platforms.
Sarah enjoys writing science fiction and horror novels, crocheting and knitting, creating content and scheduling lessons for her local music school, and watching her husband perform as a drummer. They live in Maryland with their dog, Theo.
