Steven Gray’s research is focused on developing gene therapy approaches to treat neurological diseases, conducting preclinical research to test these gene therapy treatments, and translating this preclinical research into human clinical trials. His laboratory developed a gene therapy approach for Giant Axonal Neuropathy that is in clinical trials, and his laboratory is now involved in preclinical testing of gene therapy treatments for multiple forms of CMT.
