The Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association (CMTA) is deeply saddened by the passing of Isabelle “Izzy” Tate, a beloved member of our community and a cherished friend to many within the CMT family.
Izzy was a bright light who faced life with remarkable strength, kindness, and creativity. She inspired others through her openness, her advocacy, and her art, reminding everyone around her what it means to live with courage and compassion.
Beyond her many talents, Izzy was known for her warmth and her ability to bring people together. Her optimism and generosity touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her, and her loss will be felt deeply throughout the CMT community.
Our hearts are with Izzy’s family and loved ones as we join together in honoring her life, her spirit, and the lasting impact she made on all of us.
