Team Julia 2025

Team Julia 2025

Julia, and thousands of young adults and children with CMT, share a dream. They want to run, jump and dance like other kids do, but for many of them even the simplest activities of daily life can be challenging.

Since its outset, TeamJulia has raised well in excess of $1 million for CMT research. Through our Strategy to Accelerate Research (CMTA-STAR), our initiative which is striving to find effective treatments for CMT, we are also doing everything we can at the CMTA to ensure a brighter future for Julia and everyone who is affected by CMT.

Due to the administration’s dramatic change in NIH grant funding, the need for rare-disease, patient advocacy groups (such as the CMTA) to raise research funds has grown exponentially.

On Friday November 28th, family members and friends of TeamJulia ’25 will participate in local walks/swims to raise funds for the CMTA-STAR program.

With your generous support of their effort, you will enable the CMTA to continue funding research by the best scientists in the world and bring us that much closer to our goal of a world without CMT. Thank you.
