Welcome to the Pittsburgh, PA CMTA Branch. Our branch covers the Pittsburgh and Southwestern PA areas. Everyone is welcome. We have been meeting four times a year, usually twice in the spring and twice in the fall. Our meetings are a great way for you to meet others in the CMT community. The meetings, held at various locations around the Pittsburgh area, consist of occasional guest speakers, fundraising ideas, resource sharing, CMTA news and a lot of support. The Pittsburgh, PA CMTA Branch is for those who have Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and their loved ones. We welcome you to join this vibrant group of active and caring individuals in your area to share resources, ideas, CMT-related information, and personal experiences and to, ultimately, build life-long friendships and support. Meetings will focus on CMT education, awareness, research updates, fundraising initiatives, advocacy, and current events and will include guest speakers. We love newcomers and hope you will join us at our next meeting!

Branch Leader Picture
Erin’s family has had CMT 1A for many generations, but Erin was the first to be formally diagnosed in 1987. She was born and raised in Pittsburgh and is now building her own family in the same community she grew up in. Erin lives with her husband, daughter, and two crazy toy poodles. She loves yoga, traveling, reading, and spending time with her family. She is excited to connect with the CMT community in the Pittsburgh area and nationally. Her hope is to have fun while working to improve the lives of those with CMT.
