We invite you to an exciting Central New Jersey CMTA Branch meeting on Saturday, March 15th at 12:00 pm (noon) EST. This meeting will be IN-PERSON at St. Peter’s Church (Episcopal) in the Crossroads at St Peter’s Building in the All-Saints Conference Room (1st Floor). The address is 33 Throckmorton Street Freehold, NJ 07728.
During the meeting, we will welcome guest speaker Ken Cornell, CO, co-founder of Cornell Orthotics and Prosthetics. Ken serves on the CMTA Advisory Board and has made managing patients with CMT a focus for 25 years. He is the orthotist at the CMTA Center of Excellence at the MGH Boston location. With his combined experience in gait training with AFOs, he manages patients orthotically to minimize deformity and restore a normal gait pattern with improved balance and propulsion. We will get the opportunity to hear about the benefits of bracing and the options available to people with CMT. Ken will discuss when to know when you might need braces, share bracing options, and will answer your questions.
This will be a very fun meeting and a great time to talk with others living with CMT. We would love for you to join us – all are welcome.
Parking Details: Parking in white line spaces only in the Broad Street Parking Lot directly behind the Church. Yellow lined spaces are by permit only. There are limited handicapped spaces in this lot, but with handicapped plates or a placard, you can park in ANY space. Just be sure to display your placard!
