Cooper’s first day at Camp Footprint was also the first day he learned what it’s like NOT to have to explain his CMT when meeting other kids.

Instead, he experienced the thrill of just being himself. At camp, Cooper met and became close friends with other kids who understood his life experiences. And he got to play sports with kids who didn’t question what he could or couldn’t do.

The opportunity to be a part of the Camp Footprint family is the chance for campers to build confidence, experience the joy of fitting in, and learn from role models who themselves have CMT. It’s also the chance for campers to build friendships and memories that last a lifetime and a second home where there aren’t any boundaries or limits to what one can do.
