Dear CMTA Community Members,
Out of caution and concern, like many other National Voluntary Health Organizations, businesses, hospitals and universities, the CMTA has decided to put some health policies in place to limit the potential for unnecessary exposure of CMT community members, volunteers and staff to the coronavirus (COVID-19).
Protecting the CMT community members’ health and safety, and the health and safety of our staff and key volunteers, is of the utmost importance to the CMTA during this evolving situation associated with COVID-19. Accordingly, the CMTA has decided to postpone and/or reschedule all upcoming CMTA branch meetings, events and walks originally scheduled to occur in March through May of 2020.
These policies will remain in effect until further notice and we will reassess them on a regular basis. Please know these decisions have been made after careful assessment and consultation.
The support of our community is the spark that makes the CMTA shine day in and day out. We are eternally grateful to have your commitment and cooperation.
The resources below provide information about the virus, how it spreads, symptoms, prevention/treatment and more. We ask you to review the information contained in these links to be better informed about the coronavirus.
Please be aware that the CMTA is not a medical facility and cannot provide medical treatment of any kind. If you or your family have questions about your diagnosis and the coronavirus, we ask that you contact your medical professional. Thank you, and please do everything you can to remain safe and healthy.
All the best,
Amy Gray
