The Northwestern, Indiana CMTA Branch is for those who have Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and their loved ones. We welcome you to join this vibrant group of active and caring individuals in your area to share resources, ideas, CMT-related information, and personal experiences and to, ultimately, build life-long friendships and support. Meetings will focus on CMT education, awareness, research updates, fundraising initiatives, advocacy, and current events and will include guest speakers. We love newcomers and hope you will join us at our next meeting!

Branch Leader Picture
Ashley was diagnosed with CMT 1B at the age of 4 and has been a CMTA member for many years. She was a frequent user back when the CMTA used message boards online in the early 2000’s. She grew up in the Chicago suburbs and moved around before settling in with her family in Northwest Indiana. She lives with her partner, Ben, their two boys and their cats. She has a long history of CMT which includes her grandma, mother, aunt, and some of her children. She loves being active in her local community and is constantly helping others find the supports that they need. She is excited to be the Northwest Indiana branch leader so that she can help bring encouragement, resources and knowledge to the community around her.
